Yes, I can agree with that : 'me' is my own construction, my experience. At first I then wrote " I can't make the leap to your last contention - "that's what love is" -" but I reread it and yes, perhaps you are right - love IS my own construction, and so is hate, and boredom etc... Have I missed some subtlety or is your statement something obvious put into philosophical language ?
